Never Long Enough

Here is a drawing from today. These days, it seems that I'm always wanting more time than I've got. I would have liked to have gotten more of the environment and her feet resolved... but it is what it is.

Model Recline
charcoal on paper
18" x 24"

  1. I particularly love the hands in this. How much time did you have? I can definitely relate to the war with the clock.

  2. Thank you Jeremy. I almost got too into the hands and really had to restrain myself from putting anymore information especially into the clenched hand. I had about 2.5 hours on this pose.

  3. That's a lot of detail in 2.5. Beautiful work.
